Track My Meals
Currently in closed testing
A simple diary for meals and blood sugar. It helps plan small, frequent meals and see what and how much you ate during the day.
Who it's for
For people who need to eat small meals often and keep an eye on their blood sugar.
Made with older people in mind: large text, simple buttons, plain words. The app itself is in Ukrainian — its name there is «Трекер Харчування».
What it does
- Log your mealsWhat you ate and how much — from your own foods and dishes, or as a one-off entry, for example at a café.
- Show the day's totalsCalories, carbs, fat and glycemic load — per meal and for the whole day, compared with your own settings.
- Keep a blood sugar logRecord your blood sugar readings and see what you ate before each one.
- Remind you to eatYour phone reminds you when too much time has passed since your last meal. Reminders stay quiet at night.
- Remember your foods and dishesAdd a food once, then just pick it from the list. Dishes can be put together from foods.
Your data stays yours
Everything is saved in your own Google Sheet, in your own Google account. The app has no server of its own that keeps your data.
You can open that sheet at any time, copy it, or delete it.
Where the numbers come from
- Calories and nutrients come from open, verified sources, such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture's database (USDA FoodData Central).
- Glycemic index values come from published scientific tables.
- Every value shows where it came from and how reliable the source is. You can always enter your own value instead, for example from the package.
Important
This is not a medical app. It only does the arithmetic on your own settings and doesn't replace advice from a doctor or dietitian. Make decisions about diet and treatment together with your doctor.
